About us
Gebr. Bach GmbH was founded in 1926 in Tambach-Dietharz by the Bach brothers. Following the turmoil of the Second World War, increasing attention was paid to the growing plastics industry, and heating technology developed into the company’s main line of business. We are the oldest company specialising in the electrical heating of plastics in Germany.
In 2005, a further step was taken to expand the company. As the production and office premises could no longer meet the growing demands, the entire company relocated to larger premises in Ohrdruf.
Experienced and motivated staff have helped the company become a high-performing and competitive organisation. Every member of staff feels a personal commitment to our high quality standards. Several awards from renowned institutions, such as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, also attest to the high standard of our apprenticeship training.

Our long-serving, experienced staff ensure the high quality of our products, which is monitored through a continuous quality management system. We have held DIN EN ISO 9002 certification since 1995. Our heightened quality standards are reflected in our current certification to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
