Sectional Radiators
General information
Ceramic sectional radiators can be manufactured in a wide range of diameters.
Diameter Ø: 16, 20, 22, 26, 32, 36, 39, 46, 56, 70 mm
They are used to heat water, oil and air. Inside the sectional radiators, moulded ceramic components and a highly heat-resistant heating wire are used as insulators. The heating wire is held in place within the ceramic in a coiled configuration.
Specifications
The preferred installation method for sectional radiators is horizontal installation. Vertical installation can cause the heating coil to sag; special ceramics are used to prevent this.
Sectional radiators can also be equipped with temperature monitors/sensors and controlled separately.
There are a variety of possible electrical connections:
Threaded pins (M4, M5 or M6)
Motor terminal blocks
Connection leads
Please also note the following:
The unheated zone at the connection head must be at least 50 mm
The sectional heater expands more during operation than the casing pipe
The sectional heater must be at least 50 mm (preferably 5%) shorter than the casing pipe
